XLR-8 Aerial Camerawork

In addition to Photography and producing Freefly Videos, XLR-8 runs the Para Centro Locarno Tandem & AFF Video/Photo Services, and beyond that... spans the globe! :-)

Tazio Madliger began his career as cameraflyer in 1995, covering and competing in all the major disciplines of the sport (Formation Skydiving, Freestyle, Skysurf, and Freefly). In 1997 Tazio founded the XLR-8 Freefly School, concentrating on coaching and camerawork, as well as holding seminars and load-organizing in Europe and the USA.

Tazio has been involved in the making of several commercials, including:

• Sony Cli้ "Precision Landing" spot, 16mm, Locarno (CH) 2002
• SAP ad, mini-DV and photography for cinema, television, and print, Eloy (USA) 1999
• Subaru spot, 16mm for cinema and television, Locarno (CH) 1998
• AIDS Prevention campaign for the German Public Health Dep., 16mm and mini-DV, Perris-Valley (USA) 1997

Furthermore Tazio has worked with various media, including:
