what does freefly mean to you?
Freedom to move in a 3-dimensional
environment. Freefly enables us to enjoy the fast and fluid interaction
in airspace as a whole. |
what is the nicest about freefly to you?
Lots has to be developed yet, freefly is versatile and challenging.
I love the spontaneous feeling when flying, even if that occurs just
shortly and in such a different element than our terrestrial one. Something like
enjoying a great chance to expand your natural environment and your conscience. |
how do you feel about the risk factor in this sport?
Thanks to technique, education and (not last) training, skydiving is no longer
more dangerous than many other sports, more popular and considered not extreme
ones. But for sure, it demands proper and frequent training and a respectful
attitude towards safety.
Always focus on altitude awareness and control as the major safety
condition. Perfectly know and frequently go
through all the emergency procedures to prevent and respond to
malfunctions. Always make a gear-check before jumping, maintain it in good
shape and inspect it regularly. |
what are your ff goals for the year 2005?
To continue coaching
and teaching freefly. I'm
also looking forward to flying in the windtunnel again, and flying my
wingsuit over Locarno! :-) |
